Project Management: Focus on delivery

Major corporate development projects can place a significant strain on a company's in-house teams. The peak load of a short-to-medium term task cannot easily be accommodated by existing resources; equally, permanent recruitment may well not be appropriate. In addition, the project may require specialist expertise and a degree of objectivity not readily available in-house. And in all cases, the efficient management of complex projects requires particular skills.

The Eastbury Partnership can provide a highly experienced, targeted project management capability, focused on effective delivery to an agreed schedule. Our approach is objective and independent of vested interests. We do not provide management consultancy as such: we offer a reliable high quality resource allowing client companies to concentrate on their core business. A key benefit is that we are capable of assimilating large amounts of background information rapidly, and able to analyse complex issues effectively, to determine the most appropriate course of action. Our focus on delivery then ensures successful implementation.

Typically, a project management assignment has a number of components:
- definition of requirements and critique
- preparation of analysis of required deliverables
- options analysis
- impact assessment
- agreement to tactical plan
- assessment of logistical and budget implications
- coordination of resources and implementation
- progress reviews
- post-implementation review and follow-up

We offer a structured approach to these components, backed up by industry-standard project management software technology, and an ability to interface with mainstream resources within the client company. We are happy either to help the client with the definition of the project and the specification of options or to help manage the whole process through to implementation and impact evaluation.
